Several important and unique exhibits from the extensive collections of the Oberösterreichisches Landesmuseum in Linz will be displayed.
As examples, we can mention 2700 year old objects from the world famous Iron Age burial ground at Hallstatt (Upper Austria).

 

 

The Landesmuseum in Asparn an der Zaya have at disposal a rich collection of  archaeological findings which caused sensation when
discovered. Graves from different periods will be looked at with attention on their respective funeral rites.

 

 

 

The Institut für Urgeschichte und Historische Archäologie possesses a vast collection of important archaeological objects. Some of these will, through this exhibition, be shown to a wider public for the first time.

As an urban phenomenon in Schönborn Baroque garden palace, the museum of folk life and folk art occupies an unmistakable position owing to its opulent collections from the former Crownlands of the Habsburg monarchy. Exhibitions focusing on historical and contemporary everyday cultures in Europe are used by us as a setting for questioning and reflecting on everyday life.

 

 

The collection of the Theatermuseum at the Lobkowitz Palace evolved from the Theater Collection of the Austrian National Library and was founded in 1922. The collection was not supposed to concentrate on collecting literary and archive assets only, but to capture the theater in its entire diversity.

So quisquilia say something about both the private personality of their former owner and about his or her cult status.

The State Museum Hanover displays art from the Middle Ages to the early 20th century, archaeology, ethnology and natural history.
Close to the hannoverian Maschsee you will find the largest and most-visited museum in the federal state. In its large collections Rembrandt, Rubens and Albrecht Dürer meet dinosaurs, fishes, reptiles, ancient and foreign civilisations. The Lower Saxony State Museum Hanover (Niedersächsisches Landesmuseum Hannover) contains five collections introduced in three worlds.
